Log Rx
Privacy Policy
Last updated October 8, 2026
Log Rx is a free tool for World of Warcraft raiding guilds. This page explains what personal data we collect, why, who receives it, how long we keep it, and how to delete it. We do not sell your data.
What we collect
- Account information from Discord when you sign in: your Discord id, username, display name, avatar and the servers you belong to.
- Your Warcraft Logs API credentials, if you add them. They are encrypted, used only on our side to make requests on your behalf, and never shown back to your browser.
- Guild information that you give a guild or that its officers enter, such as rosters, characters, ranks, schedules, attendance and absences, raid plans, notes and uploaded images, and a record of who changed what.
- Game data from public Warcraft Logs reports, such as character names and performance, when you or your guild analyze a report.
- Technical and usage data: anonymous page-view counts, and request logs that can include your IP address, kept for a limited time for security and troubleshooting.
Why we use it
To sign you in, run the features you and your guild use, show your guild the information it manages, keep the service secure and working, and prevent abuse. We do not use your data for advertising or build profiles about you.
Who can see it and who receives it
- Members of the guilds you join see the guild information described above, as their role allows.
- When a guild connects Log Rx to its Discord server, guild information such as absences may be posted in that server, where Discord's own terms and privacy policy apply.
- Anyone you send a share link to can see what that link shares.
- Service providers that host, store and operate Log Rx for us, under their own data protection terms. A list is available on request.
- Discord and Warcraft Logs, which you connect to directly, and the sites your browser loads images or fonts from.
- Authorities, when the law requires it.
Your data is stored in the United States and may be processed in other countries where our providers operate.
Cookies and browser storage
We use only cookies needed to run the site, such as keeping you signed in and remembering a share link you opened. There are no advertising or tracking cookies. Your browser also stores preferences, drafts and cached data on your own device; clearing site data removes it.
How long we keep it
- Account information stays until you delete your account.
- Guild information stays while the guild exists on Log Rx, or until its officers remove it.
- Game data from public reports and cached results may be kept to keep the service fast; it comes from logs that are already public.
- Technical logs are kept for a limited time.
Your choices and deleting your data
You can delete your account at any time from Settings. That removes your account, your Warcraft Logs credentials, your guild memberships, and removes or anonymizes your Discord id elsewhere. Guild information that belongs to a guild, public game data, and anything already posted in Discord may remain. For any other request about your data, including access or correction, contact us in the Log Rx community Discord.
Security
We use reasonable measures to protect your data, but no service is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee it.
Children
Log Rx uses Discord sign-in and follows Discord's age requirement. It is not directed at anyone under 13.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top changes when we do, and material changes are announced in the community Discord.
